A solid sheesham hardwood bookcase as unique as your personal book collection – and one that's large and sturdy enough to house your ever-evolving library, moving home as you do and serving you for a lifetime. Crafted in India, the freestanding ladder bookcase has five fixed shelves that graduate in depth from top to bottom – the lower three being large enough to take big hardbacks or lever arch files. Handmade by skilled artisans at a fair trade workshop where provenance of timber is assured. We have worked with this supplier since our beginning and in 2014, started a Sheesham Plantation Project with them. Already we've jointly planted thousands of saplings!

Care
As this Mallani Large Ladder Bookcase is hand waxed, we would strongly recommend the use of coasters and mats to protect the wood from blooms caused by hot or wet items.
