Searching high and low for a wooden wardrobe that's not a dark and bulky presence? Solid and sturdy yet with a lovely lightness of form, our Vandara wardrobe is fairly traded and artisan crafted in India. Made from solid, sustainable mango wood, the two-door wardrobe is hand carved with decorative leaf and lotus flower motifs – an ancient symbol of purity for the way it is rooted in mud yet rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty. Finished with a hand-rubbed whitewash, the freestanding wardrobe accommodates both hanging and folded clothing on its full-width rail, removable inside shelf and useful lower drawer with brass handle. Delivered fully assembled – so there's no DIY, but do please measure your home carefully before ordering, including all doorways and any stairwells.

Domestic Distribution deliver our larger furniture orders via a two-man delivery service. Our large
pieces are heavy, therefore we strongly advise that you arrange for two additional people who can lift, to be on site to assist at the time of delivery. Due to the size and weight of this piece of furniture, we can only guarantee that the
item will get delivered into your property. While every effort will be made to put the item into your room of choice, they are not obliged to move anything to a place that they deem could put themselves at risk (i.e upstairs). Please be aware when ordering that it is your responsibility to check that the item will fit and to make sure access is appropriate. Any return costs payable are to be covered by the buyer. 

Deliveries are Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm and the delivery team will contact you to
schedule a convenient time for your delivery. Please ensure you provide a telephone number when you checkout to avoid delays in delivery.

Prices are for mainland UK. If you are outside of the UK, please contact us for a delivery
quote before ordering.

Please let us know if you wish to delay the despatch of your order within 24 hours of
ordering.

Please note if you require a Saturday delivery this will incur an extra charge of £20.

Before you order, please remember to check whether the furniture you want will physically fit in your home! We'd urge you to get the measure of doors, narrow halls and stairways or awkward access routes before you order larger items. Our delivery teams do a sterling job but if it won't fit, they won't force it!

All our dimensions are in centimetres and in the order: Width x Depth x Height. Because our furniture is handmade, measurements may vary by up to 2cm either way. If your space is very tight, then please contact us right after ordering and ask us to measure the actual item we'll be sending to you.

Wax your furniture occasionally with Mylands Wax which helps to protect it. We recommend Mylands Antique Mahogany Wax for our sheesham collections (Mallani, Thakat, and Hathi) which will not only help protect it, but it will also develop and deepen the lustre of the grain.
